Monday, January 20, 11:00 am: Saint Peter’s is once again hosting Cambridge’s celebration of the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King. This year’s event features readings from Dr. King’s works on peace, justice, and transformation, remarks by Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, first woman of color ever elected to the Boston City Council; choral music by Véronique Epiter, Christina DeVaughn, and members of Cambridge’s Episcopal churches; and remarks by Sumbul Siddiqui, Mayor of Cambridge. An informal lunch will follow in the church undercroft.
