Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church is a welcoming and diverse community where people from all walks of life open themselves to God’s love, help, and mercy.

A radical welcome — We welcome all who wish to join us in the journey of following Jesus. Our diverse congregation includes people from all walks of life. At Saint Peter’s, there is room for everyone at God’s table.

A space for prayer — As an Episcopal church, we worship according to the Book of Common Prayer, a treasury of prayer that has sustained generations of Christians. We follow a pattern of prayer that is centuries old and yet helps us keep our spiritual bearings in the 21st century.

A call to service — We are fed at the altar with the bread of heaven, and then we in turn feed others. Twice a month on a Saturday afternoon, we welcome our hungry neighbors for a home-cooked meal and fellowship through a ministry called CommonCare. We also support a variety of other local programs and agencies that serve our neighbors in need.

A place to learn — In the Episcopal Church we take seriously Jesus’ command to love God with our mind as well as our heart and soul. Questions of faith are welcome here. We come together regularly to explore what it means to follow Jesus in this place and time. Each Sunday morning, those who wish gather to read and discuss the Scripture lessons for the day’s worship; no previous knowledge of the Bible is required. Most Wednesday evenings, we host an adult forum in which we engage a range of topics related to the Christian life.

A generous spirit — We strive to live gratefully in response to God’s countless blessings, to “praise God, from whom all blessings flow.” Indeed, Saint Peter’s is a great blessing to us. One of the ways we thank God for Saint Peter’s is to give some of our financial resources to this parish. By doing so, we help ensure the future of this beloved community. At Saint Peter’s, we are here to stay!
